To and from Bornholm 

Located in the Baltic Sea between Sweden and Poland, Bornholm can be reached by ferry or by air. Flights to Bornholm are available from Kastrup, Copenhagen. Ferries to Bornholm are available from Ystad in Sweden, Køge in Denmark and Sassnitz in Germany.
 
The workshop programme runs for two full days - 4-5 October. Therefore expect to travel to Copenhagen or Bornholm on the previous evening, i.e. on Wednesday 3 October, but also expect to make it home late Friday night 5 October (depending on your point of departure, of course).

By air
Danish Air Transport a/s - DAT - offers several daily flights between Bornholm and Copenhagen, www.bornholmerflyet.dk.   
 
By sea
BornholmerFærgen sails between Rønne on Bornholm and three destinations: Ystad in Sweden, Køge on Zealand and Sassnitz in Germany. The journey time from Ystad is 1 hour and 20 minutes, the journey time from Køge is 5 hours and 30 minutes and the journey time from Sassnitz is 3 hours and 30 minutes. From Copenhagen you can buy af combi ticket for bus and ferry.
 
By rail
DSB www.dsb.dk has direct trains from Copenhagen to the ferry in Sweden (you can buy a combi ticket for train + ferry).
