Project period: July 2019 - May 2020. The purpose of this project is to map municipal rural development initiatives 12 years after the implementation of the Local Government Reform. How have individual municipalities chosen to structure their rural development efforts and their collaboration with local communities? And what are the pros and cons of the various ways in which these efforts are organized? The intention is to collect and share lessons learned from the collaboration between municipalities and local communities, as well as to provide recommendations and tools that municipalities can use in their future work to ensure vibrant and sustainable local communities. The project is funded by the Rural District Pool.
