Event-based population analysis for Danish municipalities and cities 2007-2030

This report presents the findings of a research and information project on developing an event-based population model for the Danish Business Authority (formerly the Ministry of Housing, Urban and Rural Affairs), funded by the 2014 Rural District Pool. The project examines population trends and migration between urban and rural areas, and involves building an event-based population model for Denmark with a focus on inter-municipal and urban-rural migration. Part of the project involves incorporating this population model into CRT’s local economic model, LINE.
