Local development plans for Bornholm's towns and communities

The project involves developing a Local Development Plan (LDP) for each of the four local communities of Klemensker, Nyker, Aarsballe, and Rø, all of which are part of the Firkløver cluster, as well as a template and methodology for how similar development plans can be created for other local communities on Bornholm. The development plans were prepared by CRT through the involvement of local citizens and associations, and in collaboration with the Regional Municipality of Bornholm. The development plan aims to highlight place-based qualities and identify realistic development initiatives that can improve social life, community activities, outdoor recreation, and local business, ultimately benefiting residents, visitors, and tourists alike. By activating and involving citizens in the preparation of the development plan, the goal is to create a foundation that both the local community and the Regional Municipality of Bornholm can build upon in their efforts to develop the island's rural and urban areas.
